Nona’s Tropical Threads

Aunty Nona Warner is a Hawaiian woman from an old-time Laie family who worked for years as a master cutter in the Polynesian Cultural Center’s Seamstress Department. There she helped create tens of thousands of uniforms and costumes. Like many island women from earlier generations, she could even cut and sew clothing without patterns;

but typical of old-time local style, this quiet, lady would never take credit for her many contributions. The PCC has been making its own clothing for over 50 years, so it seems appropriate we create an aloha and resort wear shop in the best tradition of Aunty Nona and her dedicated staff who have been outfitting PCC employees for years. Nona’s can ship your purchases anywhere in the world.
